Amish tourism is a big business and the sect has a complicated relationship with it

LANCASTER, Pa. ― Tom and Ellis Hansen were visiting their daughter, who is studying equine management at Delaware State University, when they decided to take a short side trip to Lancaster County.

The couple is from Herefordshire, a rural county in the west of England, and while they were in the United States, they wanted to do some sightseeing. One of the places they wanted to see was Amish country.
