Louisville Animal Services employees protest after years without a wage increase

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – As Louisville Metro Council members passed the next fiscal budget, Metro Animal Services (LMAS) employees made it clear they want to see more of it in their paychecks.

“We’re not asking for a whole lot here,” Metro Animal Control Officer Matt McKechmie said. “Raises would help keep employees in our shelter, and that is going to benefit your city.”
