‘I wanted to make a difference’: Louisville jail works to address staff shortage

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — At the Angels Envy Bourbon Club inside L&N Stadium on Wednesday, over 20 of the top employers in Louisville were trying to woo job seekers.

“You interested in working with Metro Corrections? A career with us?” Ofc. Lasha Bearden said to one woman who walked up to the table.
