MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Boys and Girls Clubs of South Alabama has been enriching the lives of our young people since 1957, creating a fun, safe, interactive place for students to thrive after school and during the summer.
News 5’s Bill Riales sat down with the Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year for 2025, Preston Burks to find out what he has loved most being a part of the program.
“You see these new connections, the new games and partnerships and leadership role that they try to integrate into the clubs, which is it’s just incredible seeing what these kids can do when they, like have all the free time in the world to go to the club,” said Burks.
