Philadelphia Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Missing 13-Year-Old Shermeaka Pointer

The Philadelphia Police Department has issued a call for assistance in the search for a missing juvenile, 13-year-old Shermeaka Pointer. According to a release from the department posted early this morning, Pointer was last seen over a week ago in the early hours at around 12:30 a.m. on East Cheltenham Avenue, the Philadelphia Police Department reported.

Pointer is described as standing 5’5″ tall, weighing 110 lbs., with brown eyes. She is known to frequent certain areas of Philadelphia, specifically the 58XX block of Catherine Street, 57XX block of Baltimore Avenue, and the 63XX block of Woodland Avenue, areas that may hold clues to her whereabouts, the police stated. The description of Shermeaka’s physical appearance and her known haunts have been shared widely, in hopes that someone, somewhere might recognize the young girl and provide some much-needed information.
