TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – DEA leaders are bringing summer youth programs to Toledo in an effort to curb summertime drug use by teens.
Officials say June and July are when teens are most likely to experiment with substances including drugs and alcohol.
“Summertime, where young people are spending time away from parents, away from teachers, away from coaches, is a time where is experimentation happens,” said Brian McNeal of the DEA Detroit Division. “We want to put the message out there that it’s a great time to have a conversation about those substances.”…
