Lubbock man pleads guilty to fraud and drug possession

LUBBOCK, Texas–Rick Rehm, 27, pleaded guilty to fraud and drug possession.

For each charge he will serve 10 years in prison for fraud and a drug possession charge. Charges of burglary habitation and attempt to commit kidnapping and assault were dismissed entirely.

EverythingLubbock.com previously reported Rehm had forced entry into a residence. Inside the residence, the victim’s mom attempted to stop Rehm from getting to the victim. Court documents said Rehm pushed the victim’s mom down to the ground.

Rehm chased the victim to the back room where she had the door closed and locked, he again, forced entry into the room, breaking the door off its hinges. The victim attempted to run outside to the backyard, however, Rehm caught her and grabbed her by the neck, forcing her to walk to the front of the house where her car was parked…
