SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Mercy Hospital in Springfield is facing a malpractice lawsuit alleging that delayed care in the summer of 2023 led to a patient’s deterioration and death.
According to court dockets, plaintiff Skyler Baxter is suing as personal representative for the estate of Glenda Michelle Baxter-McDowell and on behalf of her next of kin.
