Passenger Succumbs to Injuries Following Las Vegas Collision at E. Lake Mead and N. Lamb Boulevard

Last Saturday’s collision at the intersection of E. Lake Mead Boulevard and N. Lamb Boulevard in Las Vegas has resulted in a fatality. The LVMPD Traffic Bureau was informed by the Clark County Coroner’s Office on Tuesday, confirming the death of Jason Graham, a passenger in the Mercedes-Benz involved in the incident. As per the information obtained by the LVMPD, Graham’s death is the 83rd traffic-related fatality within the jurisdiction this year and the ongoing investigation is being conducted by the LVMPD Collision Investigation Section.

Initially, the collision which took place at 4:27 p.m., involved a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 64-year-old Armando Varrios-Reyes and a 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLK 250 steered by 35-year-old Kyle Burrell. Both vehicles suffered severe front-end damage following the crash at the aforementioned busy intersection. In the wreckage found by the first responders, Armando Varrios-Reyes, Kyle Burrell, and two passengers of the Mercedes-Benz, Tannie Wichern and Rachel Green, sustained minor injuries and were later released after treatment. According to a report by Hoodline, driver impairment was not a contributing factor.

The collision caused not just a loss of life but also impacted the flow of traffic as investigators and cleanup crews worked on the scene. In the wake of the accident, local authorities are issuing reminders for drivers to stay alert and cautious, especially when navigating turns against oncoming traffic.
