The company that manages Augusta University’s student housing filed for bankruptcy Wednesday.
Calling its current arrangement “no longer sustainable,” Corvias Campus Living USG is commencing Chapter 11 proceedings to restructure in a bid to stay afloat.
AU deferred comment on the proceedings to the USG, which released a statement Wednesday afternoon: “The University System of Georgia is aware of this development and is reviewing the situation. Housing remains open and continues to serve students, who are always USG’s top priority.”…
