Gas station clerk gets decades in prison for fatal shooting at Detroit store

DETROIT – A former gas station clerk convicted of shooting and killing a man will spend decades in a Michigan Correctional Facility.

The shooting happened in 2023 at an ExxonMobil gas station in Detroit on Vernor Highway.
