Court docs: Confrontation between exes leads to double homicide

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Thursday’s double homicide in southeast Fort Wayne allegedly stemmed from an ongoing altercation between a woman and her ex-boyfriend, according to Allen Superior Court documents filed Friday.

Now, the two people who were killed have been identified, and two other people who got involved face charges in connection to the shooting.

Quenecia Gaylor, 37, is preliminarily charged with murder – acting in concert; felony murder – acting in concert; and attempted burglary. Shan Lindell Ford Jr., 29, is charged with murder, felony murder and attempted burglary.

Just after noon Thursday, police began investigating the shooting on Hamilton Avenue between Gaywood Drive and Smith Street. The investigation would eventually reveal the man and woman who were found dead used to be in a relationship…
