Pair accused of stealing hearing aids during armed home invasion

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police have arrested two people who they say forced their way into a man’s home, assaulting him, and stealing several items, including his hearing aids.

Timothy Straughter and Emily Williams were charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, and theft of property.

Memphis Police say that officers responded to a robbery at a home on Hollywood Street on Tuesday evening.

The victim reportedly told officers that a man and a woman, who were armed with a handgun, forced their way into his home and knocked him to the floor. Police say that they left the victim’s home with his wallet, cell phone, laptop, Wi-Fi box, car camera, keys, and hearing aids…
