A joy rider high on methamphetamine snatched a golf cart from a busy shopping plaza in The Villages.
The 2024 pearl white Evolution golf cart was stolen Tuesday afternoon from the parking lot of Rolling Acres Shopping Plaza, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The owner told police that her daughter had driven the golf cart to her job at the Sketchers shoe store at the shopping plaza.
