BOISE, Idaho — Elijah Joseph Grant St. Onge, a 32-year-old inmate at the Idaho Maximum Security Prison, has been sentenced to life in prison with 10 years fixed for the aggravated battery of a correctional officer.
The sentence, handed down by Ada County District Judge Lynn Norton, will run consecutively with St. Onge’s existing sentences for lewd and lascivious conduct with a child and robbery in Kootenai County.
In March 2024, St. Onge attacked a correctional officer with a handmade weapon, inflicting defensive injuries during what was described as an unprovoked assault. A jury found him guilty of aggravated battery in April 2025.
