BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Three men from Bakersfield were arrested in Tulare County on Thursday on suspicion of stealing items from a train, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.
Tulare County deputies were called to the area of Avenue 56 and Highway 43 near Allensworth at around 5:15 p.m. for a report of a burglary in progress on a train, according to officials.
The conductor reportedly told deputies someone in an SUV or truck with a camper pulled up next to the train, got out and started stealing packages from the train, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies searched the area and found a vehicle matching the description near Highway 43 and Avenue 120. According to officials, three men were inside the truck, along with several damaged Amazon packages, angle grinders and bolt cutters.
Mario Rodriguez, 44; Jesus Lopez, 28; and Jesus Ramirez, 35 — all from Bakersfield — were arrested for charges related to burglary, possession of stolen property, burglary tools and conspiracy, officials said…
