TOLEDO, Ohio — 11 Investigates has learned congressional candidate Joshua Williams was pulled over in Put-in-Bay on July 22, 2022, while driving a golf cart.
In body cam obtained through a public records request, an ODNR officer is seen asking if Williams had been drinking. He refuses to make a comment or to take any field sobriety test. He stumbles while walking at one point, blaming it on the steep slope of the roadway.
On Oct. 23, 2023, Williams pleaded no contest to a minor misdemeanor charge of reckless operation of a vehicle. His license was suspended for six months and he was fined $150. The incident took place a little more than three months before Williams was elected to the Ohio House…
