INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One more final day of intense heat and humidity across the state. We’ll look for some spotty showers and thunderstorms popping up later in the afternoon. A pattern change heading into next week will bring back normal temperatures and also lower humidity values as well.
TODAY: A mild and muggy morning with lots of sunshine temperatures will quickly climb into the ’80s by mid-morning. Later in the afternoon we will see partly cloudy skies with a spotty shower or thunderstorm possible. Scattered storms may produce some heavy rainfall and gusty winds especially in the northeastern part of the state. Areas around Fort Wayne under a marginal risk which is a level 1 out of a level 5 of severe weather.
High temperatures today will be into the lower 90s. This will be the 7th day in a row where we’ve had temperatures at 90 or above. Feels like temperatures will climb into the triple digits. The heat advisory remains in place until 8:00 p.m.
TONIGHT: Thunderstorms come to an end heading into the late evening hours and we will see partly cloudy skies. Mild and muggy once again with lows falling into the lower 70s.
TOMORROW: Saturday we will see partly cloudy skies, with a spotty afternoon shower or thunderstorm. High temperatures will climb into the upper ’80s with humidity values dropping a little bit…
