More Lancaster County townships apply to make arrests as part of ICE ‘task force’

The Manheim Borough and Quarryville police departments in Lancaster County have applied to work with ICE as part of a “task force” that offers training to local officers. Through the program, local departments can make immigration arrests on behalf of ICE.

Manheim’s request to work with ICE had been approved, while Quarryville’s application was still pending Thursday.
