Venice residents learn about efforts to help the city’s homeless population

VENICE, Fla. (WWSB) – The Venice Police Department hosted a meeting Friday to brief residents on their efforts to help the city’s homeless population.

The department’s community outreach team, in a meeting at City Hall, touched on topics including public safety and outreach efforts, and community partnerships and resources.
