They lined the streets in giddy anticipation of catching a glimpse of the iconic Budweiser Clydesdales.
Despite the heat, people of all ages gathered Friday on North St. Clair Street in downtown Toledo after spotting the large red Budweiser semis, waiting for the doors to slide open to reveal their precious cargo.
The public, some with cameras, most with smart phones, clicked away as the first horse, named Steven, gracefully trotted down a metal plank off one of the trucks and onto the pavement as its handler led it to a Budweiser carriage, loaded with cases of beer to be delivered to restaurants and bars in the area.
