GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – With summer in full swing and pools across Green Bay seeing steady traffic, the City’s lifeguards and first responders are taking extra steps to stay ready.
On Friday morning, the Green Bay Metro Fire Department partnered with the City’s Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department for a mock emergency training exercise at Resch Aquatic Center.

“We have about 75 lifeguards here in the city for all three of our facilities,” said Ann DeMeuse, Recreation Supervisor for Green Bay Parks. “One of our main goals is to make sure our lifeguards are ready to respond to any type of emergency that happens in our pool.”…
