LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Earlier this month, Baja Grill announced that its location in the Heights neighborhood of Little Rock would be closing at the end of June, but on Monday they announced an extension thanks to the help of a customer.
According to a post on social mediaby owner Heather Baber, shortly after announcing the location would be closing a customer made an “extremely kind donation” and asked that the restaurant remain open until the end of July.
“Thank you all for the outpouring of love, support, and kind words. Having to make the announcement of closing was not a Baja blast for me, or any of the crew,” Baber said. “And then, we received an extremely kind donation from one of our lovely regulars and was asked to keep this location open until the end of July. After much thought, we have decided to do this.”

The post said that customers have been coming in recently to get their last “Baja fix” and they are happy to be able to extend their days a little while longer…
