After a traveler leaving Texas went viral on TikTok by claiming they had hundreds of H-E-B tortillas in their carry-on luggage, the grocer kept the excitement going, surprising passengers at San Antonio International Airport with thousands of fresh tortillas Friday morning.
The supermarket chain’s team distributed 5,000 tortillas at gates for flights heading to locations without H-E-B stores, including New York, San Francisco and Denver, according to an H-E-B news release.
