Elevated levels of lead found in some 4J schools

EUGENE, Ore. — Every six years schools within the Eugene 4J school district, and around the state, are required to have water systems tested for elevated levels of lead.

A few weeks ago results from the 2025 round of testing were sent to parents; within them some levels well beyond the required actionable level mandated by law.
