Tonasket Man Airlifted After DUI Crash on Highway 20

OKANOGAN COUNTY — A 74-year-old Tonasket man was airlifted to Spokane’s Sacred Heart Medical Center Thursday evening after a single-vehicle crash on State Route 20, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The crash occurred around 4:38 p.m. near milepost 266, when the driver, identified as Kenneth O. McLean, was traveling westbound in a white 1998 Subaru Forester. Troopers say McLean’s vehicle left the roadway to the right, struck a guardrail, and came to rest down an embankment.

WSP confirmed that drugs or alcohol were involved. Charges are still under investigation…
