Honolulu Police Dismantle Pearl City Gambling Den, Arrest Suspect on Gambling Charges

Cracking down on illegal betting dens, the Honolulu Police Department has reported a significant bust in Pearl City, where an operation featuring 16 gambling machines and over three thousand dollars in seized currency has been dismantled. According to the Honolulu Police Department’s official social media post, the raid occurred on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, around 5:30 p.m. near Hoolehua St., resulting in the collection of gambling devices and cash totaling $3,855.

In the raid, the officers not only confiscated equipment and money but also arrested an adult male suspect, holding him on charges including Promoting Gambling in the 2nd degree and Possession of a Gambling Device. Despite the apparent success of the operation, the Honolulu Police Department continues its vigilance against the clandestine gambling scene by urging citizens to report any such illegal activities. The Honolulu Police Department’s social media post details the procedure for reporting, which includes calling the Narcotics/Vice 24-hour hotline or using their designated online form.
