Local media employee in custody for Exploitation of Minors, police say

GROVETOWN, Ga. (WJBF) – A Grovetown man has been taken into custody after being indicted on crimes that involved the exploitation of minors.

According to authorities, Grovetown Police Department investigators assigned to the GBI Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received information on January 14th that Alejandra Booher was utilizing the social media app “Kik” in an attempt to obtain Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

According to investigators, additional cyber tips continued to be received, indicating that Booher was still actively attempting to obtain CSAM, and subsequent search warrants revealed that Booher was portraying himself to be a young female in online chat forums, while also soliciting other males for CSAM…
