Man arrested after standoff at northeast Bakersfield home

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A 41-year-old man was arrested after a standoff in Bakersfield Thursday afternoon.

Police were dispatched to the 2900 block of Baylor Street, near Columbus and Mt. Vernon Avenue, for a welfare check.
