CHAPIN, S.C. — Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol recently had a very different type of chase on a Midlands interstate that ended with one apprehended — and going to a good home.
On Friday, the agency addressed a now-viral video of two troopers chasing a small pig across multiple lanes of I-26 near Chapin. The video ends with the pig getting hauled off the side of the road to safety, where a Richland County Sheriff’s Department deputy assisted in getting the panicked animal under control.
