MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was critically injured in a shooting Thursday in the Cherokee area, and the man charged in the crime allegedly told police that he did it in self-defense.
Jerome Settle, 22, was charged with Aggravated Assault and Theft of Property to wit: Stolen Firearm. His bond was set to $50,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
