Food Lion is recalling several products containing chocolate chip cookies due to a possible peanut contamination.
The Salisbury, North Carolina-based grocer said in a press release that one of its suppliers, Rise Baking, raised notice of potential contamination in select lots of chocolate that were used to make in-store baked Gourmet Chocolate Chunk Cookies.

These products have been removed from Food Lion’s shelves, the grocer said. The last day customers may have purchased affected products was Friday, June 27.
What to do with recalled items
If you have any of the affected items, do not consume them. Instead, return it to a Food Lion store for a refund equal to double the purchase price.
