BLUFFTON, Ohio — Three people were injured — two seriously — in a chain reaction crash involving eight vehicles just outside of Bluffton.
The two people who suffered serious injuries, a 69-year-old woman from Toledo and a 57-year-old woman from South Carolina, were taken to the hospital after the crash around 11:30 a.m. on I-75. A third person suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
All eight involved vehicles were traveling south on the interstate when traffic slowed down near state Route 103. A semi truck being driven by a 29-year-old from Canada hit this line of slow traffic and caused “a chain reaction of vehicles striking each other,” according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol…
