TOWN OF CLAY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The 20,000 page report detailing Micron’s impact on the region is offering new details about the company’s little-known plan to build an extension to the current railroad system by its campus to ship materials needed for construction.
Later this year, the company will begin building what’s called a rail spur, basically a dead-end extension to the existing CSX rail line that allows train cars to pull off for unloading.
