Arkansas Mom Sentenced After Giving Marijuana Edibles and Vape Pens to Her Kids

BROOKLAND, Ark. – A mother in Arkansas has been sentenced to jail time and probation after admitting to giving marijuana products to her children, including edibles and vape pens.

Deanna Sue Woods, 36, was sentenced Wednesday to 120 days in jail, with 60 days credited for time already served, and five years (60 months) of supervised probation. She was also ordered to pay all associated court costs and fees.

Woods pleaded guilty to one count of introducing a controlled substance into the body of another person and one count of first-degree child endangerment
