BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Dolores Huerta Foundation has commenced construction on a new Peace and Justice Cultural Center in downtown Bakersfield. The center, which will also serve as the foundation’s headquarters, aims to be a hub for education, community organizing, and fostering unity.
Dolores Huerta, a 95-year-old labor leader, emphasized the importance of the center as a resource for the future leaders of America.
