DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — A Beavercreek man has been formally charged after police said he had drugs and guns, which were found during a search warrant.
According to Prosecuting Attorney Mat Heck, 40-year-old Shane Smith was indicted for the following charges:
- One count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs
- One count of Having Weapons While Under Disability (prior drug conviction)
- One count of Having Weapons While Under Disability (prior offense of violence)
As previously covered, Kettering police were sent to execute a search warrant at Smith’s home, located on Mini Court on June 17, relating to reports of a missing person.
