KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Organizers say that the 2025 Ziegler Kalamazoo Marathon generated nearly $1.2 million in economic impact for downtown Kalamazoo and raised over $10,000 for local charities.
The May 4 race brought thousands of runners and spectators as well as nearly 100 sponsors and vendors to Kalamazoo.

“This year’s event generated an estimated $1,172,000 in economic impact for downtown Kalamazoo, bringing energy and excitement to local businesses and neighborhoods,” a release said.
Registration for the 2026 race, which will be held on April 25 and 26, will open July 1 with early bird pricing and bundling. Learn more here…
