ChristianaCare to reopen part of former Jennersville Hospital this August

Over three years after the major Southern Chester County hospital was closed, ChristianaCare has set a date to open it with new name, and a new purpose.

ChristianaCare has announced they will open the West Grove Neighborhood Hospital on August 5 on the site of the former Jennersville Hospital.

Jennersville Hospital was shut down by owner Tower Health on December 31, 2021, and it has sat dormant, as residents living along the Kennett/Oxford Bypass corridor have had to go to either Christina Hospital in the Newark area, Union Hospital in Elkton, or Lancaster, Pennsylvania for a full hospital…
