RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A new facility is coming to Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and will serve as the university’s School of Dentistry.
A new 312,000 square-foot facility, designed by Kahler Slater and Hanbury, will soon serve as the VCU’s School of Dentistry — in efforts to advance dental education and clinical practices, as well as support access to care in communities across the Commonwealth and the Mid-Atlantic.
As the only dental school in Virginia, the facility is expected to accommodate over 100,000 patient visits annually, expanding to become the largest dental care provider for Medicaid recipients in the state.
