After selling four stations to JVC Media, Magic Broadcasting sells off its final Florida Panhandle radio station to a longtime employee. The company has finalized the sale of “Real Talk 93.3” WVFT-FM Tallahassee to 923 Ventures, LLC, owned by veteran broadcaster Jon Jopling. Jopling, who has led Magic’s operations in both Panama City and Tallahassee since 2021, now takes full ownership of the capital city’s only locally owned radio station.
The deal solidifies the station’s identity as a hub for community-driven content and trusted local voices, including Jeff Cameron, Greg Tish and Steve Stewart. With over 45 hours of local programming each week, the station has built a reputation for delivering real-time conversations on local news, sports and civic life.
“As someone who has lived and worked in Tallahassee for over 23 years, I understand how important it is for our city to have trusted local voices on the airwaves,” Jopling said in a news release. “This is about more than ownership — it’s about doubling down on our mission to serve this community.”…
