Four northwest Ohio airports receive federal awards for infrastructure upgrades

TOLEDO, Ohio — Four northwest Ohio airports were awarded more than $1.4 million combined in federal awards to support infrastructure upgrades.

The money, funded through the Airport Infrastructure Grant program, will go to airports in Defiance, Sandusky, Ottawa and Erie Counties, supporting projects such as snow removal equipment replacement, runway design and safety enhancements.
