ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It was the Battle of the Badges on Saturday, as first responders came together to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network and to get some bragging rights. Officials say the event is part of an even bigger effort to raise funds all month long.

“AFR is excited to be here for the first annual Battle of the Badges to help raise this. This is a great event that I think is going ot continue to grow and continue to raise a lot of money for a great cause,” says a participant.
For a small donation of five to ten dollars, guests were able to challenge first responders to see if they could measure up. One hundred percent of the funds raised on Saturday will benefit UNM Children’s Hospital…
