MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — A Department of Public Safety trooper is in the hospital after being involved in a crash in east Mesa on Friday night.
The collision between the trooper on a motorcycle and a vehicle happened on Signal Butte Road at the state Route 24 intersection, which is a couple of miles east of Mesa Gateway Airport. Officials said the unidentified trooper has serious injuries but should survive.
