Ohio Weather Alert: Dense Fog to Impact Cleveland, Akron, and Sandusky Late Tonight

Cleveland, Ohio – Drivers across northern Ohio should prepare for reduced visibility late Friday night as fog develops in areas still drying out from recent rains.

According to the National Weather Service in Cleveland, dense fog is expected to form after midnight, particularly from north-central to northeast Ohio and into northwest Pennsylvania. Visibility could fall to just half a mile at times, especially near Sandusky, Mansfield, Akron, and parts of Interstate 71 and 90 corridors.

Communities including Cleveland, Canton, Youngstown, and Erie, Pennsylvania, are all within the fog zone, with especially patchy conditions near Sandusky and Findlay.
