Fort Bend County Judge K.P. George expected back in court amid money laundering, fake hate scheme allegations

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas (KIAH) – Fort Bend County Judge K.P. George appeared in court Thursday over allegations connected to campaign finances and and alleged online scheme involving his former chief of staff.

The judge stood accused of alleged money laundering and taking part in a fabricated online hate campaign with his former chief of staff.

George’s legal team recently filed a motion requesting that judges overseeing his cases recuse themselves.
