In a city where great restaurant empires rise and are razed to the ground under the ever-rotating wheel of San Antonio taste trends, one Tex-Mex eatery is making a comeback on the city’s Northeast Side after a years-long hiatus.
Although an official opening date has yet to be announced, Chacho’s 24-hour drive-thru location is now serving up its signature nachos, tacos, quesadillas, chalupas and more at 8629 Perrin Beitel and Loop 410. A dine-in space is currently under construction, the San Antonio Express-News confirmed.
Chacho’s return to the Northeast Side comes after an extended hiatus triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic.
