WALDORF, Md. — Emergency personnel responded to a harrowing crash shortly after midnight on Saturday, June 28, after a man was struck near the intersection of Mattawoman Beantown Road and Council Oak Drive in Waldorf. According to dispatch the call came in at approximately 12:15 a.m., and units arrived on scene within minutes.
Responders initially described the pedestrian as having a pulse but “barely breathing.” He was reported to be in critical condition with significant trauma, including a twisted limb.
