On Thursday, June 26, the Clarksville City Council finalized the budget for Fiscal Year 2025-26, increasing its property tax rate from $.88 per $100 of assessed value to $.92.
After Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts introduced the second reading of the proposed measure in a Special Session, there were no discussions, amendments or questions by the panel of council members, just a vote of 6-4.
