More than 1M expected at Orlando International Airport ahead of July 4

ORLANDO, Fla. – More than a million people are expected to pass through MCO ahead of the 4th of July holiday, according to airport officials.

Airport officials say they estimate 1.4 million people will travel through the airport during the holiday travel period that begins on Sunday.

But the busy travel period comes just days after severe weather hammered Atlanta, causing major delays and cancellations at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport…
